The length of the internships will range between 6 to 12 months, depending on the firm and the professional sector.

Are the internships remunerated?

Yes, the internships are remunerated. The salary of the intern will be set at the beginning of their internship.

For the 2021-2022 year, we were able to secure partnerships with companies in (tbd). Note that all expenses incurred by the participants’ relocation to where their company is will be the participants’ responsibility

Do I get to choose what branch of the company I’m placed at?

Selection of their desired candidates and their consequent placement will be done at the discretion of the Partner Organization. If you do not wish to travel for your internship, make sure to select the “I do not wish to travel” option on your application form. However, it’s important to note that you might not get your first choice and that your placement options might be reduced.

Membership to the SDI Network entails a yearly fee of 120.000 FCFA.

Can I pay the membership fee in installments?

Yes! Following an initial installment (of 20.000 FCFA?), the yearly membership fee may be divided into 4, 5, or 8 interest-free installments, payable by the end of the program year. Installments must be paid by the (date) each month through (tbd).

Can I join the SDI Network without being an alumni?

Completion of one of our programs is a requirement of alumniship and consequently membership to the SDI Network. However, non-alumni can (with a fee), have unlimited access to our resume and cover letter building tools. To stay informed about the program and opportunities, make sure to sign up for the newsletter and regularly check the “announcements” tab. (potentially free for everyone)
